Good place to go during evening and listen live music. It is a vibrant place. You need to order food to drink alcohol. I ordered fries and it was tasty. Service is also good. Prices are good for a place which provides live music.

Exquisite Mexican cuisine with amazing flavors... After tasting the house made sweet bread you will make that face of... Oh yeah! This is really good... Then, the fruit, juice and main course... Wow! I'm lacking words to explain those flavors... A beautiful place built in an old "casona" (mansion built in the XIX century) and an amazing environment... A must if you can.... Saks comes highly recommended by many and I see why. The menu boasts a range of Mexican as well as international dishes - so there is certain something for everyone. The restaurant is extremely grande and reminiscent of a palacial courtyard. I really enjoyed the ambience and the professionalism of the staff. The food was great, but perhaps I ordered the wrong thing for my main course. Overall a great dining experience.

Went in midweek for lunch with a friend who was visiting. Our food was tasty, price was fair, and the service was great. Would consider going back here instead of the overpriced predatory spots that are closer to el Zocalo.

Great location, service and price. However last evening a Turkish Airlines crew of around a dozen people was there on layover. They trashed the entire place. Non stop Turkish music for 3 hours and broke a few glasses too. The staff wouldn't say anything to them because of course they made a bill of several hundred dollars. Such behaviour especially in a foreign country is reprehensible and speaks to the degeneracy of their culture. The staff needs to be more proactive in making sure all the customers have a good time, not just a big group. People don't come to CDMX expecting to hear Turkish music and drunk flight attendants making a mess all over the pub.

Very nice spot for food and drinks. The menu is around 80% seafood and 20% other things. Been there a couple of times and the service is always nice, friendly and attentive. The food is also always very good. They also have a great variety of beers, drinks and cocktails. I particularly like the tuna tostadas.

For a place that calls itself a cervecería, there's really not much beer on the menu at all. They have only four or five craft beers on tap. The rest are commercial beers. The food is good, but not exceptional either. The table service is good. Not a bad place, just not very notable. It would probably be good if you'd like to watch football while eating or drinking.

It's a nice and very popular location and it was full when we got there. The drinks are great and the food was mostly good except for the fried shrimp that was over fried and tasted like plastic and not like food. The beef empanada was very good.

Fantastic atmosphere, live bands on weekends...word of mouth has definitely helped this establishment because of how awesome their service and prices are. Every waiter here is really friendly, funny, and very attentive to customers even when it's packed (which is almost every night). Menu is straightforward, they never overcharge (like a few bars on this area). They abide by their posted closing times unlike Boomer's down the street which is always dishonest and a tourist trap for overcharging. Highly recommended if you're coming for cheap eats and drinks.

Low class place. Waited 15 minutes to get to get margaritas at 5:15 PM on Friday. French fries never came after 30 minutes so I just paid for it all and left. Huge water truck outside. Is this where they’re getting their water? Just go and buy bottled beer here.

We had a great time! Alfredo was our waiter and he was amazing even with my crazy family. He made us laugh and was very attentive to our needs. The season dessert (something made out of pumpkin) was a suggestion by Alfredo and it was the most delicious thing we had. Definitely would recommend.

Love this place. The second time I have been here and both times we had a great time. There are a lot of different options for food and drink, quick service, and a lot of help to get you exactly what you want. There is someone in charge of drink recommendations that can even do variations of existing cocktails. Will come back again!

Great food, great location, great live music. Only caveat to look out for: our waiter chose an option to charge us in USD rather than pesos (which made things more expensive) and when we asked, he said “no no I wouldn’t do that”. So make sure to look out for that because we definitely paid extra in USD…it definitely put a damper on an otherwise great experience!

We’re visiting Mexico and celebrated our anniversary here, the entire experience from start to finish was fantastic - first we were running late to our booking due to traffic etc but they still accommodated us, the bar staff and probably the manager all welcomed us, wished us on our wedding anniversary and not only that, they gifted us a hand-written message! The cocktails were brilliant, service was prompt, everyone was warm and friendly throughout. We loved the music and generally the vibe - it’s not a pretentious place at all and delivers on all front. Thank you team for making our evening memorable!

consistently on the 50 best bars in the world list and deserving of the title. honestly worth the hype and you can feel the detail and effort that went into all aspects of this bar - from the menu, to the ambiance, to the service, and the drinks themselves. special shoutout to fernando the bartender. this is must stop in cdmx! mexican old fashioned: not too spirit forward. so unique and tasty even though i don’t usually get OFs. loved the cocoa and nutmeg fatwash. hundred punch: another unique cocktail. balanced and complex. would try a full serving next time. artemisia: one of the limited drinks. refreshing, slightly fruity, not too sweet. a top tier drink
