Such a beautiful building! The architecture is truly phenomenal. The exhibits inside did not move me much and you can get thru it rather quickly. 1.5 hours and you are good to go.

The murals are breath taking. If you want to experience this unique art form then here is the place. The building itself is a jaw dropping architecture grandor both in day and night time. The park around is always crowded, full of activities and is a fun place to walk around or simply sit and watch people. Oh, make sure you scan the QR code to read the description of the murals in English to appreciate each panels. Otherwise, all descriptions are in Spanish, no English.

A stunning piece of architecture in the heart of the city. This is a great meeting place for people and there is a lively feel in the grounds surrounding this place in both the day and the night. The iconic rooftop really stands out and it is well worth a visit to explore the many beautiful sculptures that surround the grounds.

What an amazing place! This has been one of the most memorable places to visit in all of Mexico. The exhibition of 23 rooms is impressive, to say the least. Plan on spending half the day, at the very least, to see some of its gems. We had limited time and saw the exhibits in three rooms in four hours. With the exception of the Tenochtitlan room, we flew through the other rooms. There's that much to see. The Tenochtitlan room was the most impressive to me given the fact that you can see THE Aztec "calendar," which really isn't a calendar. Other pieces are just as impressive, especially if you know your history. If you only have a couple of hours, go. You can get through the Tenochtitlan room in 2 hours. It's well worth it. I will return to see more of these remarkable gems.

Very well made place. Just the architecture itself is amazing! As I said when I was there, one of the most beautiful man made things I have seen. I am not exaggerating. Like every museum of this category, you need more than one visit to fully appreciate all the exhibition halls. There is a lot to see and it could be a little overwhelming, even for a one day visit. I mainly gave my attention to the architecture of the place and walked through some of the expositions that I wanted to visit. Do not hesitate to visit this Museum, it's 100% worth it.

Excellent museum, not too big not too small, you should definitely be able to see it in one day. I went on Sunday it was very crowded as I think it is free for residents of Mexico. The metro system is very interesting for some reason they will empty the train and you have to figure out how to get to your final destination.

Beautiful museum, Frida is a legend and to see her beautiful home is a must to see. Highly recommend to visit this museum if you’re visiting CDMX. Buy your tickets weeks ahead of time and also spend the extra $30 pesos to take pictures. The staff speaks English and Spanish and once you’re in you can see the whole museum for about 2 hours.

Such an amazing experience to get to see where Frida and Diego lived. You get to explore the garden, and all of the rooms within the house. It was cool to see the bed where she painted, her easel, and all of her dresses. The garden is beautiful and the gift shop has some nice gifts to take back home.

Buy your ticket online!!! No exceptions. The staff is super kind, and friendly, Ale one of their staff was super helpful. You cannot buy tickets there and you must confirm that your tour includes a ticket or if you have to buy it separately. The entire house takes around 1 hour to get through, and is beautifully kept. Staff are knowledgeable of its history, so you can ask them. Also, you can only take pictures, no video, and you must purchase that pass when you buy your ticket.

A great place to make you realize where you are coming from, a native American. This is our heritage! We belong to a great civilization and we, Mexicans, are Native to this land. When white European living in the United States try to call you illegal, remember that you are Native to America! This is a great place with rich history to remind us where we're coming from.

So far the best museum we've been to in Mexico. It's perfectly signalled. There is an order and purpose in each room. Explanations are both in Spanish and English. The collection and quality of objects is superb.

To walk around this old temple and listen to the history is unforgettable experience. The place has so much stories and soul. At the entrance they will check your bag and if it’s to big you have to store at the left side. Read the notes and walk around outside too. Tipp: the experience is better if you have somebody with you explain some details about the ruins.

A wonderful wax museum with many political, historical, sports, and entertainment figures from Mexico and the world. The layout was really well done and so well executed. The hall of mirrors had me giggling like a little kid it was so fun! The horror area had me scream when the lights flashed and various figures were revealed. It was such a fun experience and I would happily go again and again to enjoy it. A must see when visiting Mexico City.

We've been to a lot of kids museums in the last several years, and I can say confidently this is the best for a variety of activities, ages, topics, spaces. There is little in English so you'll need someone in your group who can get by en Español but you can make do without that if you talk to guides with English. Highlights: 4 story play structure, bubble play, ants garden. Other kids loved the play hospital, grocery, veterinarian, chemistry lab. If the kid was older, I'd have loved to do the wood engraving and drilling activity.

Phenomenal place for kids. Visited after a busy day at another museum in the park. So many opportunities for hands-on play. Kids were happy to be able to touch and play with all the exhibits. The slide was the favorite. You need at least 4 hours to enjoy everything but really should plan to spend the whole day in order to take advantage of all the exhibits without rushing. There was fast food and snacks on site so you don't have to travel far to eat. Most staff spoke some English. Recommend visiting during the week.

This is a children's museum in the Central Park of Mexico City. Many activities for kids to enjoy. Highly recommended for those that need to drain some energy. This place was larger than any children's museum I had visited previously with Niko or the girls. Lots of walking, lots of sitting. Needed more snack areas but it had an overall healthy vibe.

A very educational experience with lots to see, interactive and educational exhibits and friendly staff, although many areas were under maintenance as well. Sweet side at least 4 hours of you want to see everything. For the planetarium you have to go buy your tickets at the window. The temporary expositions were charming albeit small. Overall a good way to spend the day.

We had a great time with the kids but needed more time to explore! We stopped for lunch at the restaurant inside. Service was excellent, food was wholesome and great quality. Something on the menu for everyone, even the kids!

Very nice science and technology interactive museum in México City south area. This museum is for all ages and for the while family. It is worth to spend half day visiting it. It is located within Ciudad Universitaria (CU - UNAM). Very close to "Centro Cultural" that has the fantastic concerts hall ("Sala Nezahualcòyotl) The area has relatively easy access by public transportation or by driving there. By the way it has plenty parking space (distributed in several parking lots around Universum and "Centro Cultural" Universum interactive museum is great option to spend half day with family or friends. It also has a very good restaurant. Which it keeps focused to visitor experience.

Great changing exhibits along w the classics. Absolutely incredible building - very hard to believe it was built as a government office building. How times have changed..

Beautiful museum in a historic and impressive building. We happened to visit on a Sunday, so admission was free. I'm not sure what they normally charge, but the museum is worth a visit one way or another. I really enjoyed seeing a few more Diego Rivera pieces.

I really wasn't all that impressed with this place. As someone else said, the building is huge (and has nice staircases) but not enough art to fill it. This is especially true on the top floor (2 floors of art). Lots of space and largely empty rooms, and the art is mostly of the same theme (religious) and of a similar style and time period. The lower floor (2nd piso) has a wider range of art to see in styles across the 19th and 20th century as well as some sculpture. Themes vary. I wasn't struck by anything but perhaps an art history person will readily identify the different movements that differentiate the styles (even I could clearly tell the differences) and enjoy the works. I did like a couple of pieces here and there, but I just was underwhelmed overall and had higher expectations especially when seeing the line around to the back of the building on Sunday (free entry day I think). I went on Wednesday with no line. If you go, don't wait in a long line. It isn't worth it.

We enjoyed our visit, and learned a few things. The museum heavily emphasizes the Holocaust, and spends less time on other genocides. The tolerance part was a valuable addition.

The exhibition is highly qualitative, insightful and interesting. The museum and its stories are really intense. I appreciated the « reflection room » at the end, being able to sit down and process everything I saw. And how I could make a tiny difference promoting peace and tolerance around me. Highly recommend this museum.

Really glad we visited this museum which was only a few minutes walk from the Hilton Mexico City reforma and cost 125 pesos per adult which included an audio guide that was in English. Would highly recommend using the audio if can’t speak/read Spanish as none of the text is in English or translated. Thought provoking, an important reminder and also just very well done. Enjoyed the visit and would recommend going. Didn’t take loads of pictures as for us more about being present but plenty to see.

What a remarkable museum. Showcasing the basilica sciences of natural history in a colorful and vibrant setting. The information presented was educational without being too technical and boring. The day I went it wasn’t too crowded. There were some groups of students there on a school trip and they also seemed to be enjoying the exhibits. The property outside was wonderful as well. There were beautiful trees and flora surrounding the grounds and an endless array of birds singing and beautiful butterflies searching for nectar. The museum only had one pavilion open as they are renovating additional buildings. The construction was done in such a way as to not interfere with the experience of a visit. I would highly recommend a visit to this museum which is located in the expansive and beautiful Chapultepec Park. The park itself is worth a visit as well as the zoo and other museums located there.

Too many kids around! 😅 The museum’s architecture design is interesting, but after the pandemic, they’ve decided to block different accesses which has made it really restrictive and not fun at all. It seems the museum could use some maintenance now that it’s opened to the public again! The area around the museum’s dope! The lake is great and bike lanes and parks everywhere! Metro Constituyentes nearby!

Nice and informative. Interesting for children and the adults accompanying them. We had a few short lectures in Spanish, explaining different subjects to the children, and they were fascinating. I thought all the exhibitions were open, after reading there were renovations about a year ago, but they are still renovating. All in all, a nice experience.
